Saving routes

Basecamp allows me to plan several route in advance and transfer them to the XT. If I'm on holiday without a computer is there any way of planning several routes in advance on the XT itself and saving them there?

There is a route planner on the device, but in my opinion it is not very practical. Alternatively you can create routes on your smartphone, for example with Osmand or with My Route App and share them with the Drive application, which will transfer them to the Zumo, adding them to the saved trips

Doh! I'd completely missed why Route Planner was so named. Flawed but of some use. I'm indebted to you!
