Export routes from Basecamp to XT via smartphone

I have Garmin Drive installed on my phone and it connects to my XT without problem.
Ever since the last update on the XT I can't get routes to transfer from my phone to the XT, keep getting and error message.
Any ideas how I can resolve this?

I think you will first need to export the Basecamp data to Garmin Explore & then the Drive app syncs that to explore on the XT unit itself.

I didn't need to do that before and in any case when I try to setup Explore the Zumo XT is shown as not compatible with it?

Fingers crossed I've sorted it!
I checked my phone and there was another update available for Garmin Drive, I ran the update and so far everything seems back to normal.
Nice of Garmin to correct the previous update so quickly.

Hi,
I also received an error when trying to export my route from Garmin Basecamp on my Mac.
As you stated, I also had no issue until the recent update to the drive app on IOS (iphone)

The error message I received on the ZumoXt screen is “failed to import new trips”

Is this the error you were receiving when you encountered the problem ?

Could you let us know which version of Garmin Drive App on your device you are now using that seems to of corrected the error?

Are you using iphone IOS or Android ?

I'm not using BaseCamp.
But to transfer gpx route files from my Android mobile phone to Zumo XT, you MUST update GarminDriveApp.
Download/update GarminDriveApp to version 4.16.26 on your phone.
Previous versions caused Garmin Drive to crash when attemting to share the gpx route file.
