When I power up my Garmin Zumo XT, I get the message, "Maps are corrupt and cannot be used. Go to www.garmin.vom/express to download the latest maps. OK"
How do I get rid of that message. The Garmin Zumo XT does seems to work just fine, despite that message.

Re: Maps Are Corrupt And Cannot Be Used
Remember that there should be only one active routable map for an area.
Un-check the non-Garmin maps in myMaps.
If the message persists, remove all the 3rd party maps and replace one at a time.

You could also try running JaVaWa's Device Manager and see if that throws up any errors

Javawa's Device manager does not work for the XT. The XT uses MTP and that is not supported by Javawa Device Manager!sussamb wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2023 7:59 am You could also try running JaVaWa's Device Manager and see if that throws up any errors

Maps Are Corrupt And Cannot Be Used
As is often the case, when I am looking for other things online, I run across something that I was looking for in the past. I think the reason I was getting the message: Maps Are Corrupt And Cannot Be Used is because I added a map in UTF-8. In retrospect, I should have used maps in Latin-1 format.
