I currently have a Zumo Road Tech 660 mounted on my Harley Davidson. I'd like to upgrade to the Zumo XT and want to know if I can utilize the existing mount? The attached picture from the Road Tech Zumo mounting kit instructions looks like it will work. My understanding is that the bolt pattern is pretty much a standard, and since both units are Garmins, I thought it would work. Has anyone here tried this or have thoughts on the matter?
thanks,

Re: XT Mounted on Road Tech 660 Mount?
Part G in your drawing is what I am assuming you are calling the mount, not the Garmin Specific Cradle.
If so, then yes... All Garmin Mounts/Cradles utilize the standard AMPS Mounting Bolt Spacing, so the XT Cradle will bolt up to part G in your diagram.

Yes. Part G will stay mounted on the motorcycle fairing. I'll need to do a little rewiring, but sounds like it will work. Thanks for the feedback!

On your post you said you would need to do some rewire, am I correct to assume that you just “slid” the XT-2 power supply into the mount, basically just replaced power cord. No modifications?
Re: XT Mounted on Road Tech 660 Mount?
Yes. That is correct. The rewiring I had to do was behind the fairing.
