From the Map view tap on the stack icon on the right side 1/3 of the way up the screen (just below the arrowhead) then Tap the Popular Paths (Moto) legend so the text turns from blue to black. That should do it.

Yep, just had the same big red failure box problem on both my XT & XT2. Still have my Nav V so I just used that and it worked. I like your solution much better!

I would like to see this same route imported to an actual Tread device to see if the errors would reoccur.
