Yes, I have the manual and the automotive power lead.

Re: 660 External antenna socket name ?
Thank you
Yes, I have various GPS external antennas, all with BNC fittings
The MCX type adapters I have seen look more like the mini ones that are directly on the PCB.
The one on the side looks different.

660 External antenna socket name ?
Just been wondering about fitting an external antenna on my 660. I discovered the socket on the side after XX years owning it. I had expected to need to drill holes in the case and solder on a BNC pigtail.. but on preparing to open it up I found the socket. I see MCX-BNC Adapters, but the pictures ...

660 Car mount USB Socket
Just a quick one, can’t see it mentioned in the manual.
What is the USB socket on the car windscreen mount for ?
It does not function the same as the internal battery compartment one.
When using it, I just get the ‘Wrong USB ‘ error message.

Re: Uploading OSM maps onto Zumo 660

You simply name the data "gmapsupp.img and drag and drop using Explorer or Mac Finder Newer Garmins can have the map named anything, but the 660 and other older ones needs the name to be just that. I am how from my ...

Re: 2024.1 maps cannot be authenticated
Hmm
On my Zumo 660, it will not load the whole update to the device because of the 4Gb limit, even to the SD card. If you select the full set of regions it goes over 4gb
It does not offer to split or load the whole update, even to 32gb SD
